What we do
From young artistes to older students hoping to hone their artistic abilities, we have exciting art opportunities for all members of your family. Online, we offer pre-recorded painting courses and live art draw-alongs. In-person, we offer birthday and painting parties, camps, and museum visits. Whether from the comfort of your home or out and about in Paris–one of the world’s artistic capitals–explore the rich and vast world of art with Paris Palette.
Meet the Teacher!
Welcome to Paris Palette! Paris Palette is founded by Michele Debuisne, a passionate art educator who has spent the last thirty years teaching children art in an International school setting.
Michele started Paris Palette as a way to keep children engaged and excited about making art, offering meaningful content that will not only enhance their drawing and painting skills but leave them with lasting memories of creativity and fun, with a bit of art history.
Michele believes that seizing this unique window in a child’s life by infusing Parisian stories and themes into her art club, helping them connect with the city and build cultural confidence. As one parent noted, by inspiring students to seek out the original art they discovered in online classes with Madame Debuisne, Paris Palette not only helps children learn but “gives our family more opportunities to visit museums' –a gift for kids and parents alike.
This simple premise lies at the heart of Paris Palette; Michele believes that children are hungry to learn about art but often feel intimidated to visit museums, or even find them boring. However, learning art history through stories and pictures,as the central theme in an art lesson,has an incredible impact.
Paris Palette aims to inspire young artists to explore their artistic potential and develop skills, one art project at a time. Michele encourages children from anywhere in the world to join her online art club. Whether they dream of traveling to Paris in person or visiting from the comfort of their home, everyone is welcome! Michele currently teaches all the art classes. She holds a BA in Studio Art from Mary Washington College and an MA in Art Education from the Art of Education University.
